HI guys,
like alot of people i guess, i have bought my k800i on O2 network from ebay.
The phones seal on the box wasnt even opened, and everything has been perfect.
The fact that i dont have an official reciept, how would this fair, should the phone require a repair within the 2year warranty period.

I don't know about 2 years warranty but the standard SE warranty is 1 year as mentioned in the manual, but if you should need to send it away to the standard repair centres they will always ask for a proof of purchase, no matter how old the phone is

we have a way of tracing the phone without the reciept, basically we log everything we sell for reference, so should it need repairing pop into the shop and they can pull up a backup reciept so we can sendit away
Although why he didnt give you a copy of the original reciept is weird as if he pulls an insurance job on it however long down the line you havent got a leg to stand on...

if you read the TnCs it says proof of purchase required, although we all know its less than a year old some places will be arsey about repairing it without one |
