Question for you regarding encoding video clips to mobiles, K800i in particular. Have you ever tryed encoding flash videos from places such as youtube? Think I found a way and this does work, look here

You need firefox to be able to get that extention which lets you download from youtube. I used VLC Player and the free RIVA encoder and managed to convert a flah video, this one in particular which is funny as hell into mpeg format

http://www.youtube.com/watch?[....]s&search=harry%20the%20hamster

I then used MLAM's (Esato member) way from here to make it suitable for viewing on a K series Sony Ericsson http://spawnweb.dk/recode/k750.htm

Trouble is the sound is way faster then the video, would you know what to adjust so the picture and sound is how it should be?

Obviously if this is found out then alot more other flash video clips could be used on the K800i.

Basically with the RIVA encoder you can convert a flash video to mpeg and it views on say windows media player fine. The problem is when you want to encode it using nero recode so its viewable the same on a K800i or other mobile. The sound is way too fast and i'm not sure how to adjust it so it plays properly on a mobile.

Any ideas?

try this:
http://keepvid.com/

enter the url to the youtube or other site in the box, wait for the download link in .flv format. Use SUPER oranother encoder to make the file compatible with your phone.. Easy as that!
