K800i and SMS Storage weird problem |

Am I the only one with 30 sms limit (in sim card) and none in phone?
With my k750i I can store 30 sms in sim (Saved Messages folder) and as many sms as I want in phone (Inbox folder).
What's wrong with K800i? I've also reflashed it with TMS and nothing changed.
Is there a way to tweak this option, it seems a Motorola-like problem (v600 only allow to save sms on sim)

Hmm, must be something wrong with yours. Is it branded? On mine, I can store 1000 messages in the phone's memory, and 25 on SIM. |

Completely unbranded and unlocked
first software was an unbranded French phone (with FR and ENG) bought from a french e-reseller, I need italian and I flashed the phone with a EU5 unbranded TMS software (IT, FR, ENG, DE).
both had the same issue, after 30 sms the phone starts asking to make some room which means delete some old sms from sim
any suggestion?
*UPDATE* did master reset...nothing change except for files (Does anyone has "Doctor Phone"? thanks)

how old is the simcard ? old ones had limited capacity. |

The age of the sim card shouldn't change the phone's ability to store sms messages. My k800 let me get to 962 messages before I had to delete some and as it sounds like that is the usual amount, I suggest taking your phone back as faulty.

I'm using the same sim card that allows me to save 30 messages and over 200 sms in my beloved k750, it's for sure a phone related problem.
What I'm asking if anyone sharing this problem and will a future software release fix that?
For moto phone it's a default settings that can be tweak. Some software release can store sms in phone memory other don't (E.g. V3, V3x, V600 etc).
forget about return policy, here in Italy being a phone customer is like cleaning your feet wearing socks
