according to this link http://www.mobil.se/nyheter/visa.asp?id=5755&sid=1 (it is in swedish) a new active sync sw is ready for download which makes it possible to view web pages in the handheld computer via the internet connection on the pc..
So I just hope that I can connect my p800 to my computer via BT and lie in bed and surf a bit at night with it! Would be cool not only that it is cheaper.. but that it is faster!
This sw should be compatible with the p800 shouldnt it? Since it is as much a handheld computer as it is a phone..
Would be cool! |

I don't think so, Activesync is a Microsoft sw used on Win CE and Pocket PC devices to synchronize data with a Win platform. I have an iPAQ and I'm using Activesync to surf too, sometimes, the problem is the very short connection cable! SE uses Symbian OS, hopefuly better than Win OS, and they will provide a new sw to synchronize data to Win/MAC platforms. Surfing could be harder, the P800 lets you surf without any other connected device, but may be third parties will provide that kind of sw, even for free!

I hope so!
Would be a nice feature for the p800, especially when considering that it has BT and u dont need the cable!
There is no such feature for the t68? Wap connection from my computer? |
