Do you have any idea how to use our k750i with memory stick to function as pen drives ie. we do not have to install the driver first before using it. OR how to change k750i so that we can just plug and play.

There was hope that FAR Manager would allow us to somehow preload drivers onto the phone, but I think this was always a bit ambitious.

At this stage you'd be best to just work with the Memory Stick adaptor, or grab yourself a thing USB drive. In all honest it's less than carrying the USB cable around with you.

Flash/Pen drives are still better.

I thought that once you plugged the phone into a PC it auto-installed the drivers, at least the drivers to access the memory stick?

I think that's what it did with my pc running XP

TBH I Can't recall exactly whether it popped up in my computer by itself or not... I'm somewhat sure it didn't however.

i dont think so... The first time u plug the K750 in to the PC using the data cable u MUST install the USB cable drivers, afaik Windows does not have these drivers by default

No, it auto-installs in XP. but your pc will detect the hardware and will search on the 'net for drivers and auto install the reqd drivers. But one needs the service packs and a net connection.
