4 hours imo is enough, no need to charge it all night long or 24 h

or you could do what the manual says which is:
"wait approximate 2.5 hours or until the battery icon indicates a full charge"
since we've got quite a few battery threads on the go at the moment, and since this has been discussed more than a few times already, I might lock this one
