Yeah you can do that.
I have was using an Orange UK 3G sim in my S700i for a while. No problems.  |

it can be used in non 3G ha,ndset, only you wont be able to utilise the full extent of your 3G phone. |

I used my "3" card in 6230i, worked great, cos of edge support of the fone

its deppend on what SIM card you have and what operator .. some older 3G sim cards are not workable in GSM phones !! besides THREE operator doesnt allow you to use thier 3G sim card in GSM phones .. |
