I am using this one since a week ( i bought it second hand ) and no disturbing noise of the rubber underneath the pad. Have to admit, i tested several ones, all was way too noise. This one feels and acts like the keypad, hard and click at usage.

Well I think that it was just the case with most W810 owners, myself included, with just working into the d-pad for a while.

Yeah, I think it has somwthing to do with the plastic or build quality. I've never had a phone with that sort of problem though. Actually this reviewer also had the same problem.

I had the same little quibble when I got my w810, but once worked in it really doesnt squeak at all, or mebbe I just dont notice it anymore!!! Such a phone, its legend!

I had mine first 2 month ago, it started to get noise after some days, got really annoyed of it, so i sold it.

i have heard this is a common fault with this phone! With use it goes away so just bear with it as its a great phone
