Eldar Murtazin wrote in his review k800 at mobile-review.com:
"According to engineers complaints about dust collector which was K750’s joystick’s second name were taken into consideration, and dust protection was improved in new models, this increases mechanical reliability."

where as in the Esato review the author wrote:
"The joystick is the same as on the K750. It will behave as a magnet on the dust you might have in your pocket."

which one of the statements is more true..is it the same joystick or is it better.

the link for the first review is:

and the second one of course can b found here at esato in the reviews section.

Well, so far, without reading any review of any kind, my joystick hasn't collected any dust at all...

generally, i don't read any review's because they are based on their experiences..whereas your experience will differ, plus, most of the time they are not final software..and are of course, open to bias .

Mine gathers loads of dust around the joystick area, but what I asumme is meant by the first review is it's a better build qaulity so the dust won't actualy get in the phone and there fore not damage the stick.

i think the conclusive answer to this is >>> 'Only time will tell' Unless someone wants to disect their K800 to have a look at the build underneath!
