hey, i have a 5 years(ish) old t68 and its has been upgraded to t68i firmware around 3 years ago. i stopped using it but now i have started again it frequaently gets a white strip down the middle, 2 pixels wide. is this the screen? although it isnt always there and upon opening the handset it seems to be fine, or is there something i need to do with the firmware?
cheers, mike

dude, or mate, it is really the time to give it up
5 years.......
Nowadays, our toys are fragile enough, usually ppl switch cell phones every year. Different story here tho, in the States some ppl still using plain screens.....

haha i accept your opinion but its one of the original t68's not a t68m or anything and i just use it as a spare ive always liked it and use it when i have to sell my 1st phone to help pay for a new one...

The one and only original t68 is the m version, the t68i is just the cheap and lets-reduce-costs copy of it

Yup, only the 'm' version for the t68 ! The 'i' can already send MMS . . .
@siam - Maybe the LCD is about to give pal, considering the fone's - oldness When I was scouting for a potential-t68-buy back then, I saw this unit which also has some lines on the screen, when the fone is switched - ON !

Dude, dont bother flashing. It's very likely to be a problem with the connection to the lcd screen. Open the phone and clean the contact.
