hey, i have a 5 years(ish) old t68 and its has been upgraded to t68i firmware around 3 years ago. i stopped using it but now i have started again it frequaently gets a white strip down the middle, 2 pixels wide. is this the screen? although it isnt always there and upon opening the handset it seems to be fine, or is there something i need to do with the firmware?
cheers, mike [addsig]

dude, or mate, it is really the time to give it up

5 years.......

Nowadays, our toys are fragile enough, usually ppl switch cell phones every year. Different story here tho, in the States some ppl still using plain screens.....

The one and only original t68 is the m version, the t68i is just the cheap and lets-reduce-costs copy of it

Yup, only the 'm' version for the t68 ! The 'i' can already send MMS . . .

@siam - Maybe the LCD is about to give pal, considering the fone's - oldness When I was scouting for a potential-t68-buy back then, I saw this unit which also has some lines on the screen, when the fone is switched - ON ! [addsig]

Dude, dont bother flashing. It's very likely to be a problem with the connection to the lcd screen. Open the phone and clean the contact.
