Any of you T68 owners from US? If so, where can you get software upgrade?
By the way, if any of you in US want T68 face plate, I can get it for around $40.

I am using it in the USA with Cingular.

You can call 1800-Ericsson I heard they are upgrading the firmware now on the T68.

I sent mine to Robb Weiss in PA, do a search on Google and you can get his details. he flashed my phone from R1B to R2A and now it works a whole lot better.

I would love to get the gold faceplate on mine, grey is too drab for me. I was going to buy an entire new gold phone.

So Ericsson in US is doing the upgrade for free?
By the way, you can't get the plate in US. I am getting it in Taiwan.

Ah! So it has to be ordered huh? Anyhow I wonder how easy it is to get the Gold T68 in China, Beijing / Shanghai. Last week in Hong Kong they were all sold out of the T68 all the stores claim it was hot, hot, hot and won't get more for a few days.

My Grey T68m came from Hong Kong I got it upgraded to R2A firmware by Robb Weiss in PA. His turnaround time is same day. So, I was without my phone for 2 days.

In my area, Cingular agent stores sale the phone. And even the guys that work at the Cingular booth at the mall know about the phone as well.

But, the phone is unsupported by Cingular so you can't call up and ask questions about it.

I sent my T39m to Ericsson and it took them 11 days to upgrade the firmware.

I am chinese But, well don't know how to read it So, I was thinking of just changing faceplates between my T68m Lunar Grey with the T68mc Gold, or just getting the T68mc flashed to English version. My parents will use the mc version but I rather htem have the grey not the gold.

Ah... so you have 2 T68! That's cool. Do you know if it's possible to flash the T68m to T68mc?

I had T68mc with R1B. When I upgrade to R1C, they flash it with "english" version and hence I lost the chinese input but T9 is working. When I upgrade to R2A recently, the flash it with "mc" version and hence my chinese input is back again. I think you can ask the service center to flash it with either "english" or "mc" version or whatever language you want as long as it conform with the language pack...
