Guys,
I try to unlock my T68 through remote unlocking.
The screen shown my IMEI is 000000-00-000000 and blank NCK, SPCK...
Have you guys experience this?
Any idea why?
Help please... |

Not heard of that happening... Who did you use?
IMEI number changes were often carried out on older phones to un-bar them if they were marked as stolen/lost. It might be that whoever unlocked it for you changed it intentionally or as part of the "service".
I dont know what effect a "zero" IMEI would have, but I wouldn't surprised if it bars it from all networks.
What if I wake up one day and *this* is my real life? |

Hi,
When the software show the IMEI is 000000-00-000000 and blank NCK, SPCK...
This usually means a number of things, but internet connection, bad cable or even the phone can be faulty in some aspects.
Best thing to do is contact your logger supplier.

What realy odd is that the phone boot up normally, I can download the picture, ringtone to the phone OK via data cable and IR port.
The cable is OK because I used it to unlock 2 others phone for my friend. So it is not the cable.
Desperately I even tried to flash the phone with T68i software but it said "fail to retreive security entry".
I can not unlock it. I can not flash it. Is there any thing else I can do? How do I bypass the security entry? anything at all?
Anybody experience the same problem or have any idea, please help me out. I am crying for help. |

GSM4ever,
I experienced the same thing. And no matter what I tried, I could not get the phone unlocked. I first used READ GDFS, and everything seemed to go smoothly as it retrieved the codes successfully. When I tried to enter the NCK, it left me with 0 attempts and completely locked my phone. So, I tried it again using the RESET GDFS function, and it also looked like it was working correctly until.. it finished and gave me strange characters in the Codes field. I then tried to reflash the phone using the LANGUAGE function, still does not work. Flash via AVR/ARM? Nope! I still have this T68i phone, and it's sitting on the shelf until further notice. I went thru all this because a previous customer told me that they were experiencing the same problems using a remote log client to unlock their phone -- all true, unfortunately.
The good news is that after changing computers with freshly installed OS, everything seems to work correctly (unlocking, and flashing). It might have been a virus. The first computer was acting a bit strangely at that time.

virtualdynamix,
I am having the same problem with my T68, i flashed it as per instructions but when i turned it on it said "Insert Correct Sim", i clicked the "Reset GDFS" button and all seemed fine until like you i got strange characters for unlock codes.
When you say you changed machines with a fresh OS and flashing + unlocking works now, does this mean you managed to get numeric codes for your T68?
Basically i want to know whether rebuilding my machine from scratch is likely to fix my problem and let me unlock my T68
Thanks
