Hey guys, I really cant tell the difference between these two phones.
can someone please help me out. |

W810i, has flash themes, a slightly larger and higher resolution screen and has no camera shutter, also looks nicer in my opinion

Thanx bro, But u were wrong on the screen sizes and reslostion, only difference I see is the 850mHz band.
does the W810 have 30hours of playback time like the W800? |

Difinitive: W810i has the same resolution screen, however sony switched the screen manufacturer so w810i has a 0.1" larger display and much more vibrant colours (I have seen them side by side).
w810i also has EDGE and is quad-band, w800i has neither of these. |

Its not mate, i was mistaken in resolution but like milkyjoe says has more vibrant colours and is 0.1" bigger

i could not believe the joystick issue has not been mentioned!!!
The biggest difference is: NO JOY on 810!!!!!

rubbish .... the biggest difference is EDGE but seeing that you have a k800 you don't have a clue what edge is (k800 only has 3g)
big scinetist you are ... you compare the pictures and decide wich phone is better

they are 2 different phones with the w810 being greater, i have a w800 and must admit he w810 really looks good and the screen is much brighter, sw 1 from a friend but other than that it is almost the same, so it is a preference of a person wether the w800 or w810 is the best. |

Well in my opinion :
w810i has + : edge (greater internet speeds) , QUAD BAND , flash themes , a better display , a good headseat , better look , no joystick , better pad , greater music listening , this are the mains i think .
Also it doesen't have that lens cover , wich is somehow crucial , but if you buy that thing to put the cellphone in it it's ok , well also a very annoying thing is like this : Yes it has flash themes , but who can use them since the most people using this fone are probaly on a branded fone , so the majority branded fones are without flash themes support , including firmware support .. FOR this : SHAME ON SONY ERICSSON ! I don't know how SE let's this happen .. IT'S A FUTURE OF THE FONE not a SERVICE , people..
So finnaly i GO for W810i .

Also, W800 has internal memory of around 34MB while W810 has only around 20MB.

Well you'd have to admit, for an owner of a W800, the W810 isn't much of an upgrade. Still, the difference is there, but you should see the mobileburn.com review of the W810. It talks about the differences between them.

Let me point out where you're wrong. It has the same display, the music listening is the same as W800, headsets are same as W800

they'r basickly the same cellphone but with small pros and cons
they'rr built on the same chasis(same screen, same dimensions, similar features, similar keypad arrangements excepting the d-pad)
if you want better browsing speed go for the w810
btw: the w810's headset is black not silver as the w800's |
