Hi, it's just one of those nights that phone goes missing

so I'm thinking to replace it by a M600i (white) or NEC 343I O2 (which is also white)

and i got 2 Questions

1. how come M600i is not available yet on major retailers like cpw or the link, BUT on sale on some smaller online shops??
e.g MobXXXSXop.co.uk (which i never heard of)

2. is the O2 Pay & Go NEC 343I sim locked ??

Thanks for your help, still miss my W900i........

and by the way, I am also open to any suggestions, since I am looking for a phone with no camera, no walkman player, and in white, sleek design

any ideas ?

Sorry for your loss Warwickchi. The 343i is an iMode phone so it might indeed be locked to O2 and that is the only network that supports it in the UK.

The NEC343i is a basic phone designed to take advantage of O2's imode service and has been around for a lot longer than the M600i.

Slightly off topic, but why have you chosen to ditch the camera on your next handset?

to goldenface

thx so much for the quick reply, coz i saw some really cheap price tag for the NEC phone

the reason I don't want a "good" camera phone? well, since i am into photography so much I start using DSLR and pocket film camera, and MMS or video calling havn't caught my interests yet

STAY AWAY FROM THAT NEC for the love of god!!! It's absolute poo! It's also not even comparible to the M600i. The NEC is a BOG standard entry level phone. It has very little memory and is very unreliable.
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker

are you saying I can't use a vodafone sim card on it? er....if that is the case, i'd better forget about the NEC and wait for the M600.

I don't think all pay & go o2 phones are unlocked, only from cpw. saying that this specific phone is only for o2 so they might all be locked
