My W800 had the original Orange Rubber and it fell out. As has the rubber on the 3 other W800's I know of at work. Initially, I used silicon to replace the rubber. But after time the silicon would also work lose and fall out. In the end I bought an after market joystick from Hong Kong which has a reasonably solid clear orange plastic in the centre of the joystick. And, after a couple of months it is still good as new. It makes sense that any flexible rubber in such a small hole would eventually work free. I find it interesting that all display models of the W800 have solid orange plastic in the joysticks. Perhaps SE new the rubber feel out quickly and didn't want people to see this in the demo models. Nalbagli: I'd like to see a photo of your joystick. Is the rubber soft or firm? Or is it more like plastic? |
