Not sure if it supports them but until someone confirms this are you able to format the memory card either in PC or phone?

Hi, I can confirm that the k800i supports 1gb m2 cards.
I can't give specific advice on a 3 branded phone as it may be different, although I doubt they'd lock something like that out.
Have a look at some of the photo's on my site, they can be quite good (no adult content!) |

I had the same thing. When I first put in the M2, the phone did not recognise it. What I did was press the M2 cover in and hold it, then go to File manager -> Memory stick Tab. All the folders appeared and I can also format it. When I let go the cover, the folders disappeared (No memory stick found). Looks like a Memory stick slot problem so I got an exchanged for a new phone. |

It must be the memory card itself then.

omer how are you connecting the memory card to the pc? via the phone or a card reader? try using a card reader if you can to narrow down if its the card at fault or the phone

Had the same problem myself (the pictures I took was never stored in the memory card), until I just shut down the phone after inserting the memory card and restarted it... Voila!
From what I know, there shouldn't be any problem insertering and removing the memory card when the phone is on, so I guess this may only be necessary the first time the card is inserted (havn't tried removing it since I inserted it)? |

ZedZ you have to tell the camera where to store your pics, its last option to the right i think in the camera settings. It defaults to internal memory not M2 unless you change it. Which is nice, 'cos the K750 defaulted to memory stick if present and when full it wouldn't use the internal memory. |

Thanks SonySandy, but actually I had already set it to save the pictures in the memory card, it wouldn't store them there anyway. And they didn't get stored in the phone either. Guess it's a bug...
But now it's working perfect since the restart (and yes, I've restarted it a few times after that as well ) |
