what branding and locks does the o2 k800i have?

i am fairly sure its unlocked, and there is start up and shut down screen and maybe an o2 icon in the menu...

is that all and can it be removed with a theme change or anything else?

thanks

Mine wasnt branded/locked, or any custom o2 images..

In fact, If anyone has the o2 startup for a k800i, could you share it?? I installed an o2 Theme, but would like an o2 startup animation if there is one?

There are Startup and Shutdown images in the pictures folder but aren't set as default for some reason on mine.

they are supposed to be animated gif's though they don't work at all, and are really low quality..

the only icon that is different is the play now is changed to o2... that is it...

The only thing I had was the o2 theme, it had startup and shutdown animations but they weren't even activated.

Mine is totally unbranded....no o2 images either in the folders, or startup/shutdown. I got mine via the 'Carphone Warehouse'.

It's been the same for the past 3 years, all my o2 contract phones from them come unbranded/unlocked with no customisation whatsoever.

In fact this time the k800i didnt even come with GPRS/MMS settings. I had to visit sonyericsson's site to send them to my phone.

Not that I'm complaining, it means that after 12 months I can sell the phone on.

I got mine from cpw and it was o2 branded. As mentioned though, the only branding is the o2 link on the menu.
