Im an old user of mail2web services. What exactly do you want to do?
For new services OWA/OMA first you have to create your account xxx@mail2web.com then activate that free service after being logged

I dont think the K800 has push email aka activesync, It has what is known as sync'd email aka SyncML. You can use services like 4smartphone who support this and they have a complete setup guide once you register for a free trial.

I use an SE M600i, and am trying mail2web.

1) I notice that when the enable push mail in the Exchange ActiveSync is ticked, based on the globe icon that comes out and blinks, my cell phone seems to be sending (or receiving) bits of information. I don't know if this is normal in a "push mail" connectivity, because I have the impression that mail2web is supposed to push mails to me, and my cell phone is not supposed to be polling (?) for mails similar to the standard pull connectivity, where you set a regular time for checking mail over GPRS or 3G.

2) I also notice that, as long as the enable push mail is ticked, the globe icon still comes out and blinks even when I have exited from the Exchange ActiveSync main program. I guess it must have left some routines in the phone's memory to continue the "pushing?"

In order to push email to your phone, the system (activesync) needs to know that your phone is alive and on the network -- so it sends out small bits (heartbeat signals) to the activesync server telling it that it is indeed on.

Your globe flickering is probably this heartbeat
