...read this and consider...
everything is opinion with this type of thing
se might decide to remove a feature from a phone because of one panel of respondees to a survery but then reallise their mistake from complaints and add it in again, or vice versa, they might add a feature that the few want but have to remove it again because of complaints
what we have to remember is that se only have what survey respondees and end users have to say, and usually the number of people who can be bothered to respond to se about problems or things they like/dislike is very small, and in most cases nowhere near a complete representation of the whole userbase of sony ericssons products, so all that sony ericsson (and most other companies) can do is guess based on what these people say what everyone else wants or doesnt want
occasionally, as we all know, this can fail miserably and a product can flop completely, but i think sony ericsson are doing a fantastic job in figuring what their users want - as one of my customers said a while back when i gave him too much change, "everyone makes mistakes"
therefore, instead of always slagging companies off about not putting a certain feature in one phone but putting it in another is in no way a reasonable way to go about things, you have to remember what companies have to work with when designing a new product and approach them kindly with suggestions rather than demands - the best way anyone can help make products better is by taking the time to fill in surveys and feed back to companies in constructive ways about how they might be able to improve their products next time - companies like sony ericsson are much more likely to listen like that
