Connect both with the usb cable provided. Your phone will ask which mode choose data transfer them just drag and drop photos to the new drive which appears in my computer

You didnt happen to just throw it straight in the removable drive? There're 3 folders, one contains the folder called 'images'. Put the files here.

this is weird i had the same exact problem .......

it was really frustrating as everything i transferred went ok and completed 100% but the files i tranferred were nowhere to be found at all, not on memory card or phone memory!

I turned my phone off and left it for 5 minutes, restarted the phone and as if by magic all the files that i had transferred were now visible and usable on the phone.

since then i've had no problems and assume by restarting the phone it must have somehow fixed the problem for me.

Have U installed the sony software that allows U to transfer and resize photos from your PC to your phone? It should be on the disc with the phone. "Image Editor" the program is called along with "File Manager". U can use drag and drop with your memory card for data already created for a mobile i.e., something U downloaded from esato such as a theme. But for photos U need to resize them. If u havent got the disc its available from sony website.
