I have found out that it is very easy to convert themes from another phone model than the one you own if you only have the .thm file. In many cases, the SE theme creator manages to perform the conversion fairly good itself, but when you go from a theme made for a phone with smaller screen resolution than what you have, it's not so good.

Anyway, a .thm file is actually a unix .tar file, so if you for example rename ithe .thm file to .rar and open it in winrar you can extract all existing images. Then it's easy to scale the images using your favourite picture editor and re-import the images into the theme using theme creator. Then you start the themes creator, select your phone model, then open the existing theme, and the themes creator will complain a little. After that, the modified images can be imported to the theme.

An idea for future improvements of the themes creator is an export button beside the existing import button for images, of course.

For a test, I took the Walkman theme from a W810 and converted it for K800i this way, retaining the animated walkman logo standby screen and all. Unfortunately, there is no K800 section in Esato free themes yet, so I cannot upload it.
