Hi

I'm trying to set-up my K800 as a modem so I can access the internet through my laptop using the phones 3G/GPRS connection.

I've installed PC-suite and have followed the Mobile Networking Wizard:- this involves:-

1. Create new connection
2. Select packet switched data
3. Select the phone as the modem

The next step i'm stuck at. If I use default settings it doesn't work. There's a drop down box to select the network operator but this only seems to include Swedish and German operators?

I'm in the UK and with Vodafone.

Has anyone completed this process and got it working? Can you advise my next steps?

if you setup the phonenumber as *99# then you should be fine as it should use the default setting - you might need the username and password for the vodafone settings though which i cant remember by heart but theyre not hard to find

at least thats what it was when i last used an se for my laptops internet (i dont use it very often)
