I bought my phone in The Netherlands.
I'm going on a sabbatical to the US.
So I wonder: do I have to buy another phone or do american sim cards work just like the dutch ones?

Edit: It's a K750i so it does have tri-band

If you're going to be using a triband cellphone in the US, I would suggest you go with T-Mobile.

As long as your K750i is unlock, the answer to your question is it will work on every GSM network service provider here in the US.
