Question here is: Are you using HSCD or GPRS?

I found out that Windows sometimes doesn't correctly report the right connection speed. At home, my Win2K laptop reported that my modem connection is at 115K (???)

HSCD top speed is 38 Kbps, while GPRS can go all the way to 115Kpbs, network and phone dependent.

Mobileman :

Was just thinking about this,..there're some options in the "mobil modem settings" in the windows controlpanel.

You should be able to set your connection to High speed data,..and get more than 9,6.

I dont know if you've already tried this ?

It interests me a lot, as I have just ordered an Anycom bluetooth pc card for my laptop,..and I'm using gprs as well.
And I want it to work too
