Hello, Does anyone here know if the K800i supports the flash lite themes?
I've searched the net and a few forums, but I havent found a conclusive answer as of yet.
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance! |

I tried it this morning. The themes install but only the non flash parts of the theme works

But I thought that the menus on the k800i were flash, like the w810i, and could be edited...is this correct? |

I keep finding references to K800i and 'macromedia flash lite'. I'm now thinking it's firmware dependant. I hope it is.. I mean the standard SE UI is really good, but to be able to customise it further would be amazing.
I have a K750i right now, the K800i is here, but I don't have a 3G sim yet since o2 forgot to send me an updated SIM and M2 Card.
Since the K750i I have is CID49, I've missed out on the customisation achievable via the 'FAR manager'.
Fingers crossed that flash-theming is possible

the themes I tried were the W810 ones posted on davinci
the manual doesn't mention anything and the white paper has a single reference which says
but that doesn't mention flash themes, so I don't know...

I'm not too bothered tbh...I just 'heard' (pieced info from different sites) that the icons can be changed..
I sort of coupled this with 'macromedia flash lite'and came to my conclusion.
Never mind! |

I got a 3G sim, but no M2 card...I don't think o2 are giving these with the k800i. |

I phoned them to ask why i hadnt received my 3G SIM or M2, they confirmed that they would be sending both to me in the mail, as I told them that my original plan was to go with Three who would give me the M2 card also.
I'll let you know what the do actually send tomorrow when they should turn up. |

@masseur
looking at the whitepaper, the image you posted is from the 'messaging' section (i.e sending a flash animation through MMS?).
correct me if im wrong, but i think that flash themes (and funky icons) seem to be reserved for the W series of handsets? |
