According to the U.S. Patent Office Sony has just patented "Flipper Phone Configuration". It allows phones display to move 180 degrees

Thats a form-factor I never imagined.
Instead of twisting the flop, you flip the flap 
They could have also done a flip on the lower portion of the phone too. With a keypad on one side and a d-pad on the other. |

whats the point of that tho? it wudnt be very veiwable because the top of the housing would obstruct the screen...
