I just downloaded some games to my PC to transfer them to my cell, but the games are in an .jar or .jad type format. I don't know what these files are. Can some one help?

They're suppose to be in jar format. Just send the .jar to your phone and the phone will ask where you want to save the file .

"n computing, a Jar file (short for Java ARchive) is a ZIP file used to distribute a set of Java classes. It is used to store compiled Java classes and associated metadata that can constitute a program. "

Isn't the jad file the part that gives the java app its name?I'm pretty sure it is.

MIDlet-Version: 0.2.5
Created-By: 1.3.1_08 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
