12month contracts to go? |

I wanted peoples views on something I was told from o2. When I phoned up recently to renew my contract, I was told that soon, 12 month contracts would be replaced by 18 month contracts. Is this something that anyone else has heard? I'd hate to be tied down for the extra 6 months, as I like a new handset each year. Any thoughts? |

I asked the same question when I got my upgrade and was told that both 12 and 18 month contracts would remain. 18 month contracts are aimed to lower the overall monthly cost of the phone. Think of it as 'spreading the payments' a bit further |
