I have just got a K800i, just been out with the dog and took a few pictures and a video and its full. So I want to buy a memory card for it.

Do I have to buy a Sony one,

http://shop.sonystyle-europe.[....]yle/b2c/init.do?shop=SST_GB_EN

Or can I buy a Sandisk one,

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pr[....]=560798&s=electronics&v=glance

Cheers

Sony and Sandisk co-developed the Memory Stick Micro as they did with the duo and pro duo. It talks about it in this thread:-

http://www.dpreview.com/news/0509/05093001ms_micro.asp

So i can't see there being any problems at all using the Sandisk one. There probably even the same card made at the same place but branded differently, with Sony's name probably adding an extra £5 onto the price.

I didn't know the sandisk one was released yet?

DONT BUY SANDISK. THE SANDISK ONE IS MICROSD NOT MEMORY STICK MICRO(M2) which k800i supports.
