Hi chaps ... newbie here ... I'm really keen on the k800 (mainly for the 3.2mp it may stop me carrying around my camera all of the time) but am also excited about 3g access to the internet and the ability to use it as a modem from my laptop. Well I've been surfing all morning and it looks like whichever way I go 3, O2, vodaphone, whatever it will cost far more than I want to spend. I really only make about 10 calls a week (honest) and would want to get on the internet 2 or 3 times a week and only then to do simple searches and check e-mails. Anyway there are no pay as you go packages (I'm on Virgin at present with a K700 ... really good service btw) ... 3's walk and talk looked good but it's only available on contract. What, I guess I'm asking at the end of this boring ramble is ... could anyone point me in the direction of a solution as I see it I've got to pay up (really don't want to) or buy the handset sim free and put my virgin sim in it and forget about the internet ! .... best regards Roger

Don't think I'm too fussed about the network pow ... I was tempted by the vodaphone deal which looked like £50 for the k800i then £10/mth for 18 mths but then I looked deeper and the £10 turns into £25 after 3 months ...we're talking £400 over the period ... I think I'll buy the phone sim free and put my virgin sim in it and continue wth payg ... thanks for taking the time ... Roger
