There isn't an option not to store sent messages. I know as I've been studying the thing this evening.
The phone is wicked. One massive gripe I have though and I imagine many of you will too when you think about it, is that there is no security. I assume this is quite common but I had a samsung d500. On that I was able to set a pin lock on photos and vids etc and I just assumed most other phones had this function. I am astonished that on such a technologically advanced phone that you cannot do such a simple thing.
How many of you leave your phone lying around when with friends or even on your desk in the office (or school!)? I guarantee everyone has had an occasion where someone has picked it up and had a nose through. I have loads of times. And what if you lost it? The person who finds it will have a good look at everything unless its switched off. You've prob guessed that I have rude but personal stuff on my phone (already!!).
Like I said though, I imagine its only Samsung phones that have decent security, but in this day and age, where our phones are practically part of us and contain loads of really personal information (GB's 4 god sake), a bit of effing secuirty wouldnt go amiss. There. RANT OVER.

yes, its true. folder/file security is still one of the most asked for features on Esato and has been asked for most phones including K750/W800/K700 etc etc

its called fileprotect.jar and its mentioned in many threads, for example "Are there any Apps that can lock files/folders on the w800i?" but I haven't heard good reports about it.
there are other suggestions in the last post of that thread which, if still valid, might be worth checking out

Cheers masseur,
I see what you mean it looks very plain too. Would be nice to see Sony Ericsson put a proper one in there handsets as it is really a basic thing. |

Fileprotect is a good programme if you dont want anyone to open up a certain file, eg a video. It merely changes the extension so the phone doesnt recognise it. Its a good, decent programme, however, it takes quite a while to unlock one file. |
