V600i debranded with 3 services |

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone is able to help me out. I have a SE V600I which I have just debranded with a K600 software. The flash worked fine, although my main reason for flashing it was hoping that the phone would be able to use all of 3's services.
I can get to the home page and all, although when I am on the 3 homepage (grid where you can select items) there is no highlighted box around the icon I want to choose.
Same thing happened when it had V600I firmware on it. Is it a phone limitation, or just a setting which needs to be set?
3 had the handset forsale, and I assumed the K600, K608 and V600 were essentally the same thing, but with different branding.
Any ideas?

Ok, and is the only way to flash it with k608i firmware instead of v600i / k600i firmware?
