I need a new phone my k750i is dieing on me. My main phone for day use and work is going to be th p990. But I would like something smaller for nights and weekends. I can not decide between the k800 or the m600. Not really worried about the camera just size. It would be nice to have the m600 since it will still be synced through exchange or blackberry but it still seems to big for a night phone. What do you guys think? |

just got the k800 and its a very nice phone. menu layout is the same as k750 so it has a nice familiar feel but it has improved in all areas. Nice look, comfortable and solid feel. I'd go for this, well, i already have!! |

How about the K790. It would make a nice balance to the P990

I presume that as he is getting a P990i and is also considering an M600i then 3G is the way forward and not EDGE so the K800i would suit better than K790i.

I'd say get a K800I. It may be more solid build wise for those nights on the town compared to a touch screen phone. The only problem with those touch screen phones is keeping that big lush screen protected when tippsy plus you either will get the wrong sort of looks in a pub etc or look like an idiot with a pen stabbing at the screen. Work fine. In a pub or club you look silly, I did when I had my P800. |

yeah normally i would agree with you, i looked real dumb in bars when i had my huge p900 compared to everyones t610 or something. But now almost everyone has a treo or blackberry where i live so the m600 is actually small compared to that. I am leaning towards the k800 though. |

well you say you need it for a night phone. The m600i is fairly small for a 'smart' phone, so dont think its huge.
Though, as you will use it for weekends and nights, id say you would come across things where you may want to take a photo or video of.
K800i is a good choice, but video is bad, so w900i would be better suited for video.
so go for w900 or k800 |
