Did you know....

- You can zoom into videos as you play them back.

- Photo DJ allows you to remove red-eye after the photos are taken and also adjust light balance, Brightness/contrast, rotate, add effects and items such as text or clip art to the photo.

- You can play video clips as a callers ID (only for incoming calls).

- You can now set up to 5 different alarms instead of one.

- You can use the phone to connect to the internet via USB (in connectivity settings) and via PC Bluetooth (via the Bluetooth menu).

- The K800i has next word suggestion: Allows the most frequently used words to pop up after certain words (ie, type Sony then space and Ericsson will appear automatically - provided you have typed this in the phone at least a couple of times).

- You can backup all your contacts onto the Memory card and restore if required.

- You can set ON or OFF if you want to have USB charging or not (this is in the service menu)

- View video call camera in full screen in the service tests.

- You can scroll through photos by pressing the A/B gaming buttons straight from the main menu.

Does anyone have anything else interesting to add?...

- the two buttons at the top(with the video camera inbetween) are top= scenes changing and bottom = shhot mode changing in the camera.

But I'm sure you know these and shouldn't they all really be in the tips and trick thread?

It had been good if you could scroll the screen when you surf in landscape mode with the two buttons over the screen...

This is the same as any phone with these connections? To clarify it doesn't mean you can surf the net on your phone via these connections.

If you start writing a SMS, click 'more' and choose 'To MMS' to write a MMS instead. Perfect if you start writing a SMS, but changed your mind and instead want to write a MMS (or attach a picture)!

Is there a way your mobile number can be displayed in the 'Status' menu like on the K750, or has this been removed? Not a biggie but it was a nice touch.

Some operators store the phone number, by way of an over the air update, on the SIM (along with a welcome text, network ID, voicemail number and other bits - e.g. Orange in the UK) but otherwise you'll need to manually enter them.

If your phone freezes in an app. For example a Java game, if you press and hold the power button the phone "end task"s the frozen app then gives you the shut down window, at this point cancel the shut down and your phone is working again.

Just tried, I couldn't get rm or WMV to play, even though both file types are supported according to the knowledge base. Must only support certain bit rates or something.

Info from KB :

Video (including audio part)
MP4 (video: MPEG4, audio: AAC or AMR) .mp4
3GPP™ (video: MPEG4 or H.263, H.264, audio:AAC or AMR).3gp
Real Video 8 .rv, .rm
WMV wmv
