the message alert is usually short, at least the usual ones...

Then, choose a different sound (i.e. a longer one)...

i dont want to play a full song that was to get the point accross easier.
but i do have a good message tone and it gets cut off before it ends...
i would prefer it if it was able to go on for as long as it could, rather than be cut off.. it couldnt be that hard to make it do it.. my 6230 could do.
but no problems, i usually have the phone on silent and vibrate anyway |

Maybe he's Billy Nae-mates and likes to savour a txt by listing to a whole song? Or maybe he just likes to irritate all the folk around him with his phone ringing for 3mins for 1 txt message! lol |

I had the same but with e-mail alerts. I had a 24 second wav file from a particular episode where homer is reading out Mr Burns messages, needless to say i didnt like the people there so it was on purpose, and I no longer work there |

Must admit, I've had songs as ring tones. And have left it ring just to hear it. Only problem is most people don't leaving it ringing for long enough, they hang up after a min or so |

thats why I make my own.
cut up and mp3 and let it loop on a particular section. yur typical dance tracks which run at 148bpm will have a loopable section that will cut out after 17 seconds, which funnily enough is the amount of times the phone will ring before diverting to voicemail in the UK.
Well arent i just the little freak of nature with so much useless info???
question is how many of you are now wanting to put that to the test lol. |

its not a song either
its a message tone, like.. a woman saying something, but she gets more stressed out each time, until she finally explodes at the end of the message alert thingy.. it played it on my 6230.. but not this.. ooh no.
plus when i'm in my house or whatever and i get a txt... if the song i like comes on, i may just want to listen to it all the way because its a good song wierdo or what |
