Hi,

I've just received my K800i, and it's having a nightmare trying to work with my factory-fitted Audi Bluetooth. Does anyone else have this combination and have it working?

When a call comes through it is not registered in the car, the music isn't stopped - you cannot talk or hear the other party unless you transfer the call to the handset. When you make calls it's worked once or twice, but mostly it's exactly as above - nobody can hear you.

Thanks - I should say that it works fine with my Nokia, and okay-ish with my K750i (they actually broke something in the latest few firmware updates).

Yeah it works both great with my dad's nokia and my K750, though its annoying that I can't use the car speakers for my music via my K750... Though the K800 can

Do Audi bluetooth kits support AD2P?

Try getting Audi to install specific Sony Ericsson software into the Kit. The Audi BT kit is nice but can give very unusual compatability issues.
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker

I've sent a mail to Audi Customer Support - I'll see what they suggest.

Thanks

Im about to swap my 6280 for a K800i and i went to CFW and tryed the K800i in my car and it seemed to work ok on my audi BT kit...

It could be a coding issue on the bluetooth kit,..?

I only tryed the basics, it downloaded my phonebook, missed calles, dialed number ect....

Made a call and recieved one, seemed to work ok...

Do you Have RNS-E or just bluetooth..?

I've got RNS-E .. but I can't control the phone through it either.

I think I've got an old bluetooth unit - Audi CS just refered me to my local dealer
