Ok im slightly mad as it is.
I ordered my k800 from o2 online on thursday, o2 said it was sent out friday, should be here saturday and today at latest.
Its not here
But i get an email from o2 (the first email i've had, i havn't had a confirmation email, even though they have taken the money, or i havn't had an email with a tracking number.. how can i get one then)
Then this email today says my view is ready for viewing online, and they are going to take £32.99 from my account, well ... i'm only on o2 200 which is £30 a month so why take £32.99 ???????????
Then i view my bill and get this clicking on Bill summary

So where do the 2.55 and 28.08 come from?? Will i be charged this ontop of the £30 line rental??????
And on my allowance details, it says..

54 messages this bill, and 21.26 minutes... so does that mean when the phone eventually turns up... i;ll only have 54 messages and 21 minutes for £32.99 a month..

£2.55 is the price of your line rental from the day you ordered the phone to the day it was delivered (or the set start of your billing cycle)
£28.08 is your £32.99 less VAT (28.08 * 1.175 = 32.994) and is set for a 30 day billing cycle (3rd July - 2nd August).
As for the inclusive allowances, they should be whatever you signed up for (200 minutes and 500 messages judging by your post).

Yeah, it's £32.99 per month.
I'm not sure why they take the small amount extra, my bill was £20.90 instead of £18.99 but it should return to normal from the second month onwards.

I called up o2 and they gave me a refund of the first small amount of £2.31.

I might do the same if I can be bothered, they shouldn't be charging line rental for when you didn't have the phone - I only got mine today.

No your bill wont be £32.99 a month.
They will bill you for a set period, in your case the 3RD to the 2nd of every month. the £2.55 (2.99 without vat added on) is to cover from the day your contract started (30th of june) until the next monthly cycle begins (on the 3rd of july). Your next bill will be dated from 3rd august to 2nd september and will be for £30.

Sorry, I was adding it up wrong.
I thought he was saying 2.55 + 28.08, but it's actually 2.55 + 25.53 = 28.08.
So they'll take 25.53 * 1.175 = 29.99 (or 30.00 if that's what you signed up for) per month, including VAT.
The £32.99 is a one off.
