The new V3x seems only slightly improved specs wise and design wise. Motorola still refuse to let go of the RAZR design (why?), and I personally like the new keypad, which is the only thing that I like about this phone. Looks a tad thinner and narrower than the old one.

It is assumed that the new version will support UMTS, EDGE and GSM (Dual band 850/1900 MHz). Furthermore there are stereo speakers, a 2.0 Mpixel camera, an additional VGA- camera for videocalling, 64 MB of internal memory, slot for MicroSD (TransFlash) memory cards and Bluetooth supporting the stereo audio profile A2DP. The device will be announced in the USA this year and it is not clear if we will see it here in Europe as the successor of the V3x.
