That sony ericsson k700i with chinese characters on keypad cannot be upgraded?

It can be upgraded, but it needs the correct language pack.  Philippines doesn't have that particular firmware because they don't sell K700c units here. |

yup. liezel is still with sess makati. i was just there yesterday.

i am not sure if this is the one in the former Streetlife (in front of Gold's Gym and Friday's).
i had my firmware updated to R2L and i was asked to wait for 45 minutes but it took only around 15 to 20 minutes (and the phonebook memory wasn't erased at all).
