It works on my k700, but I'm not sure if it works on the k800.
Press any number(s) and then press # - the phone will go to the number that you pressed in the Sim card in the "Call from Sim" menu.
For example, if you press 25 followed by #, the phone will go to the 25th entry in your sim card. |

Another way of starting the camera without sliding the cover or going to cyber-shot in the menu is when you have your k800 on standby, press the camera button right down and the camera automatically starts

mmm why would you want to do that exactly. u'll have to slide the camera cover down to take a pic anyways. y not just slide it down and let it start. |

i've just found out these, but not really useful though
press 3,6, 9, #, simultaneously from anywhere, will open the web browser. (new firmware will need to press them a bit longer)
press 1, 4, 7, *, simultaneously from the stand by menu, will open then the phone status.
press 2, 5, 8, 0, simultaneously from stand by, will open the camera album and delete to lastest picture.

If you don't want to wait for the Flight mode/Normal mode options screen when switching on your phone,
after you've pressed the power button the Sony Ericsson logo pops up pause for a second then you can press (no need to hold the key, just press once)
key '1' to take you straight to 'Normal mode' or key '2' for 'Flight mode'

Edit: to say there's no need to hold either key down!

Is there a way to change to picture dimensions? The file size can be adjusted from VGA-1MB-2MB-3MB. No problem. But when I send a 3MB image to an email account, it arrives with 2048 x 1536 pixels. Any way around this? |

u can send an mms to an email adress. it reduces picture size. but if i try to send a 3MP picture via email. it offers me to reduce size.

Right. But an mms costs money. About 50 Eurocent with the plan I have. I have 30MB of data transfer a month, so an email attachment is cheaper and of much better quality.
If I reduce the "size" of the picture, it will lower the dimensions and the pixels, too.
I guess there's no way to compose a 3 megapixel photo @ i.e. 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768... |

Can you paste smileys which are located on the memory-card in to SMS messages? The SMS already has some standard smiley-puppets which you can use (Insert > Items > ) but I was woundering of there are more smileys for download or something u can use. in SMS. |

The amount of megapixels in the phone does not relate to the quality of the image but it is infact the size of the image. A 1MP photo will have the same quality as a 3.2MP photo (possibly even better due to the lower resolution) however the 3.2MP will be a much higher resolution and therefore a greater file size. There is no such thing as a 3MP photo at 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768. |
