K800 vs pub shots |

Hi,
My word its been a really long time since i posted on this forum.
Anyway, i currently own a k750i and i only really use the camera for taking shots in the pub /club, but they normally come out really blurred.
I read that the camera cpu is now quicker in the k800 and so does this mena that you can get good in door dark shots.
If not, is there any phones that can take good pictures?
Cheers

I'm guessing that anaother reason that your shots were blurred was because of the shutter lag because of the autofocusing required. I remember reading in mobile-review that there was an option in the K800 to make the camera fixed focus, meaning no shutter lag. When used with the xenon flash, your pub shots should turn out ok.
Obviously I haven't got the K800 yet (damn Australian providers) but surely someone can confirm?

Your k750i would take great photos if You would buy MXE-60 accesory.
And yes, k800i will take very good pub photos not because processor, it has nothing to do with it, but because of Xenon flash. It will capture one moment within ~0.01 second. So the photo will be very sharp, no way it can came out blurry. So You decide buy better phone with xenon flash built-in or buy MXE-60 xenon flash for ur k750i. |

being in a pub, i would prefer not to use a flash, which i guess is one of the problems.
One of these free disposable camera things, do the job without problem, so it must be possible.
Fixed focus could help, but i suspect the ability to manually change the shutter speed would help. |

You cannot disable autofocus (it gets blocked automatically in some shooting modes, for example in one called Document, this module becomes inactive).

hmm.....i dunno really...but a phone camera is never gonna be as good as a dedicated digital camera - try one, if you have one - may be the way to go about it - you will need a flash to be able to do what you want to, because otherwise you will have very dim light etc., a disposable camera with no flash goes to film. film is always gonna be better quality because you can blow the photo up (not literally...well you could!) to a very large size, whereas with a digital print/photo you can only blow the picture up to a certain size and then argh...it pixalates!
i take it the mxe-60 is like a flash that just sticks onto the fast-port? i'll google it now because i know that'd be the answer!

hope you have fun with the phone mate, yeh i've always like ericsson (///) and sony ericsson (:se:) but now i use a phone alot more - e.g. texting and the fact it gets carried around in a trowser pocket every day of my life basically - it gets quite a bit of wear-and-tear to the case of the phone - so basically i don't know whether i'll stay with sony ericsson because the cases are a bit flimsy (the phones are more luxary...just the fact it needs to stay together is a must) - so i might be going down the nokia or motorola route next time.....but may go along smart-phone route - which would either be sony ericsson or a treo (definately not the treo 700 windows version though! how can they make a mistake like that?!?!?!?!?!?)
