Many many years ago now when i had my first Nokia phone you had the ability to change the name that displays under the operator's logo i.e. under Orange i could put something like underpants so my operator logo read Orange Underpants.

Doeas anybody else remember this feature and why don't modern day phones allow you to do this?

On the old 3390 I used to have, you could change the names of the profiles that were selected, that name would show up under the operator logo, when that profile was selected, therefore, displaying what you described.

The only profile that could not be displayed was the "normal" profile.
