Took out an Orange contract through CPW today and am mulling over insurance options.
On the CPW insurance they offer an option that you can cancel your contract after 6 months (if an 18 month contract). This seems a pretty good deal and am very tempted by this as I can then change my phone in 6 months.
Just wondered if anyone has used this insurance and took advantage of this...any catches or pitfalls I need to be aware of?

If you cancel your contract, you lose your number. No PAC code or anything.

I myself tried this when I had a Nokia 7610 on o2, through CPW, and wanted to get the 6630. I was informed that I could cancel, but the number would be dead, and no way to transfer it.
