Hi all,

I know this stuff has been covered a bit in the past but I still need help.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-A197VP laptop with built in bluetooth and a SE K750i. The bluetooth sofware on my vaio is BlueSpace.

To begin with I was able to connect and use the file push function but it was very unreliable. I was never able to connect the remote.

Several months ago I updated the vaio to windows SP2. Perhaps this has changed this or perhaps not, but I can no longer do anything other than pair them.

I am so sick of getting "connection failed" error!

When I go into the device properties > services and tick any of the boxes I get an error saying "incorrect parameters"

I had a look at the guide for installing Widcomm driver but it seems that you need to find software patches and it all seems complicated.

Can anyone please help!!!

Windows xp sp2 has their own BT setup. There were a few discussions here about that and I remember threads about it. use the search with bluetooth, windows xp, masseur explained it very well. I do not remember the exact details about it.
