Help: K750i, adding music files to the phone |

Alright, i just got the phone, but the box didnt come with the CD but just with cable, so i went to the SE website for the PC Suite 1.7.0or the newest one.. However when i plugged in the phone it only charges my phone but all the other programs cant detect anything. On Sony File manger(program i downloaded from SE website) it says NOT CONNECT(question mark sign)...
what can i do? Can anyone show me how to do this properly.. manual doesnt really say and i dont want to spend some extra money to call SE.. |

@lc - Firstly, welcome to Esato dude  Now, with regards to your query here, and I will go by the 'title' . . . whenever I wanted to add something to my fones external memory, I always use my memory card reader when transferring files: mp3s/videos/images etc . . . I am not in the practice of using data cables of the fones when transferring datas. I hope that partially answers your query here matey  !

thanks for the helpful inqery! but does it make a difference while without a card reader.. because i spend a bit on the phone already i dont have i the money for the card reader unless i can find one for cheap! Do you think i can fix the problem soo i can connect from phone to computer with usb cable? but i heard that is mostly for firmware upgrades.. etc. |

have you tried downloading k750i usb drivers from the sonyericsson website? |

card readers only cost the equivalent of US$10 or less. it is a very worthwhile investment especially if you plan to transfer music because it is 100x faster. |

wow that seems very good then i might wanna get one .. is it ust a plug and play thing where you just drag stuff over or its a program? ive tried the usb driver on the site.. it worked after i restarted computer and it recognized the flash but it didnt really install properly.. |

Could this be the firmware version? If so how do i check which firmware im using? And currently my phone is messed up. When i installed the games i downloaded off a website the other day.. the phone could allow me to play the games.. after 1 morning.. i just try it and it said operation failed.. |
