Well, i went with my friend because he had to buy a new phone. We had the W810 in mind but somehow it didnt give a very solid feel compared to K750/W800. Felt too plasticy, but thats just my opinion.
Plus the lack of camera cover is a minor drawback. It has EDGE, and comes in a cool black case. I think it'd be a decent buy.

Good question but relative. It depends on your taste and style. Being that I do work for SE sometimes I am given phones. I was lucky enough to get the w800i and the w810i within a week of each other. After playing with both for about 2 weeks, I gave the w800i away. The added bonus of EDGE appealed to me as does the flash menus. In terms of build, they are about the same with the w800i having the camera shield. Maybe this makes it feel more solid, maybe not, but if I had to spend my own money between the two, I would buy the w810i hands down. Plus the black looks cool as does the headphones but I do not use them anyway, however the adapter is very stylish.
*edited on a Mac of course. Mac: There is no substitute*

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?

well, thanks for your opinions guys, this is it, I got the phone today and I'm really satisfied so far! this phone is a real beauty. I've said in other threads that I won't be buying the k790 (not k800 since I live in America) in less than a year, so I'm sure this little beauty will keep me happy until then. I'm happy!

Just sold my W810 for a K800. Gotta say though it is great. Awesome feature is the light sensor to save battery! All in all apart from a lack on lens cover its a really great phone, just not enough of an upgrade for me after 4 K750s 2 W800s and 2 W900s, wanted something new.

It's my third SE phone - I can see why it's one of the best mobiles currently available. It's much better then I expected it to be!

I do love my W810 but there are pro's and cons of course:-

A few Pro's......
• Great MP3 player
• Excellent sound quality
• Battery life impressive
• Large memory (512MB) supplied with phone
• Easy to navigate menu options
• Plays many different media types

A few Cons......
• Phone feels really plasticy
• Very hard to text with (maybe I have abnormally large thumbs)
• Taking photo’s isn’t great as a lot of them blur when there is movement
• Edge instead of 3G

How does EDGE differ form 3G? Where and how is it available in the UK?

I think that the key features of it are:
- EDGE (perfect for those who live in a 3G-less land )
- Great MP3 Player
- One of the best cameraphones (2MP, autofocus, macro, powerfull photo light)
- Beautiful screen
- OTA firmware update (just like PSP)
- Awsome storage space included (512MB)
- Removable memory slot
- Sony Ericsson legacy (it's full of ultimate features but it's not a brick like those Nokias)

And the few negative points/bugs
- Blinking Photo Light bug
- No silent camera shutter
- Squeaky navi-button

Edge is an in between speed of GPRS and 3G and not all networks supprt it.

I am on Orange UK and they support Edge but i can't say about the rest?
