many people have this issue, ever since the K700, and people still ask about it every week

unfortunately your only option is to use a 3rd party service like davinci to reflash your phone to a different firmware where silent shutter is allowed

i got my w810i from hk, in silent there was no sound, and there were a few diff shutter sounds, i dont think one was 'no shutter' though..

this phone had hk firmware, but i flashed to EU2 firmware, and in silent mode, the camera was still, silent!

try flash to eu2 or hk ( i rather eu2) if your isnt already on that, it may get rid of it...

My K750 came with some HongKong firmware so I flashed it to EU1. with the former FW is was impossible to silence the shutter sound, with the latter there was no problem. Let's see what FW my new W810 will bring.

Yeah I just flashed my w810 with DaVinciTeam, mostly to change the region, and automatically it enabled the sound shutter to be disabled. DaVinci Flasher is a great program.
