N80 unlocking? |

Done a search and can't find anything on this. I know its a long shot on BB5 devices, but is there anyone knows anyway apart from asking orange (who the phone is locked to), of unlocking these phones cheaply? Would it be worth contacting Nokia with the imei details etc and see if I could get it direct from them? Any ideas appreciated.

Still waiting mate, though to be fair, others here have waited upto 28 days, so guess I just have to wait. Bit miffed, had the phone 2 and a half weeks and still can't get using it.

Hoping so, bit disappointed with orange customer service, was with orange when they first started till about 3 years back and have to say they were always spot on. Though recently been hearing they seem to be going downhill a bit. Shame really.

I wrote that as I had heard from someone it took them 28 days to get the code. Another member on here has had 3 orange uk phones unlocked and in each case had the codes on the 12th day.

Hi all sorry to disagree but just bought a N70 on T-Mobile spoke to customer services and explained had 3months left to run on a Virgin sim with 200mins per month that i didn't want to waste. I paid £15 to get the unlock code and was told could take up to 28 days to arrive i recieved it in about 6 days now thats what i call service. T-Mobile is the new Orange and Orange have become Mercury one2one.

I unlocked my 6630 which was a brand "3" network, and they gave me the cold in 5-6 days.
But there policy is to say 10 days so i was surprised when i got it way before then.
