Hello everyone

I want to purchase a handset for internet purposes only. Internet on my PC. I intend to get an Airtel connection and use the mobile phone only for this purpose. I am in the Maharashtra zone.

I want a phone which should be enough for internet (through GPRS). Other fancy stuff is not a priority.. the internet is. How much speed should i be expecting from your suggested phone and approximately how much will it cost me. I am on a budget..the more affordable the better... the only priority is internet

Thanking you all in advance

Our test results show that Nokia 6630 is the best one. But if you want cheaper, try SE. But buy only Class 10 with Edge phones!

Nokia 6630 & SE w810i both are good for GPRS internet on PC. Both are EDGE phones.

a budget phone would be 6020, it's got edge and has good browsing speeds, but it lacks memory and bluetooth.

No Bluetooth.....but if youre going to be using it primarily as a modem for gprs internet on your computer....that should'nt really be a disadvantage

@Pranav. I also cant connect to 121... Says error in connection. Try the 10 digit number on your Airtel (sim card) pack. It works for me but 121 still gives the same error.
