What do u reckon will be a good price for an external IrDA port, I really don't wanna get a cable for my T68 as its a rip of and is only compatible with one brand of phone.
I run XP so, I really don't want anything that will give me hardware conflicts. |

Or you could get the MA-620. The cheapest I've found is £29.35 from here:
http://www.activemobiles.com/MA-620%20Infrared%20Port%20-%20Ericsson.htm
Or £29.99 from here:
http://www.m-99.co.uk/PhoneAccessories/Infra_Red/infra_red.html
These prices include delivery and VAT

If u decided to buy an IRDA port u may as well just buy a BT USB adapter or something like that.. wont cost you that much more, and way more cool and efficient |

cstasik, do u use XP, as I've had hardware such as scanners not running on my PC, cos I really don't want to buy something that won't run on my machine. |

yeah i run XP, its definatly compatible just plug it in the USB port then switch on the pc,
as soon as it starts up, its recognised and ready to go, just select recieve item on ur phone and it connects automatically!
then its a case of right clicking on the pic/tone/theme etc and send to - a nearby computer!
Very Good, and i do reccomend |

I bought this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1773253525
works like a charm with my XP RPO SP1, never had a problem, and it is tiny and neat, very cool device...
nice seller too, fastest delivery.

I would go for a Bluetooth adapter. It's much better than an IR-port. And also with pccontrol you can use your phone as a remote control of your pc. That is way cool...
And besides a Bluetooth USB adapter is not that much more expensive... |
